I was visiting The Home Depot the other day looking for supplies for my plant art and had to mosey into the Home and Garden area. My heart started to beat faster as I looked at the colorful planters and parade of seeds packets. I calmed myself down by buying some flower and vegetables seeds. Our family loves zinnias. I think its because these annuals come in such an array of colors and have sturdy stalks for putting together great summer time arrangements all over our house. Zinnias are easy to grow from seed and have nicely shaped leaves that cute little tree frogs love to live in. I was a little sad for the poor potted plants that are mature and ready for planting now because we are definitely not ready for them. I think it’s going to be a zinnia summer at our house–that’s the sun in my house today.
